| 12 July 2009 - Apollo’s Dragon Boat Team managed to stay afloat for all six races at the annual Rotary Clubs of Northampton Dragon Boat Challenge at Midsummer Meadow. Calling on the lessons and training learnt from the last 2 years the team managed to paddle together in time and finish 3rd overall. They also raise over a thousand pounds for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
The team was ably supported by other members of Northampton’s newest Rotary Club who kept both the barbecue and the information tent manned throughout the day.
